Atocell® is a trademark for Tipoo’s cellulose ether products and derivatives. Our Atocell® products include Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC), Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (MHEC) and Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC). We offer multiple grades of products (standard and customized) for your specific industrial application.
HEC is a non-ionic, water-soluble, and PH-stable powder product that offers a variety of functional properties when dissolved in water. It can be used as thickeners, binders, surfactants, film formers, protective colloids, suspending agents, and water retention agents in many construction materials.
Atocell® HEC is available for a variety of waterborne interior and exterior paints. It is the most widely used thickener in exterior latex paints with wide compatibilities that can be matched with many coating ingredients such as pigments, surfactants, emulsifiers, preservatives, and binders.
