HydroMax HM-1433 is a mixture of silane and siloxane. A water-soluble protective colloid and anti-caking agent encapsulate the silane to produce a free-flowing organosilicon powder.
When dry mix mortar is mixed with water, the powder disperses rapidly, dissolves and releases the contained silane and siloxane. Interaction with water and environmental moisture causes hydrolysis and forms hydrophobic components.
